When it comes to finding an assistant, you want someone who is capable, efficient and reliable. Unfortunately, The World’s Worst Assistant by Sona Movsesian does not fit the bill. This book follows the story of a hapless young man named Evan who attempts to work as assistant to a powerful CEO with disastrous consequences. While Evan’s misguided efforts may provide some comic relief, they ultimately come at the expense of his employer’s business and reputation.

The World’s Worst Assistant lacks in many areas. Even though Evan is well-meaning, his inexperience and lack of knowledge about basic tasks make him an ineffective assistant. He also has a tendency to take things too literally, resulting in confusion and misunderstandings. In addition, despite his best efforts, Evan often fails to deliver on promises due to his lack of organizational skills and poor communication ability. Ultimately, his misadventures lead to chaos and disorganization rather than progress or success.
