My Experience for You, Me & Dupree (Widescreen Edition)

Ray Cooley

I never expected to have so much fun watching a movie until I watched You, Me and Dupree. It was like being part of an extended family. It’s a hilarious story of two newlyweds, Carl (Matt Dillon) and Molly (Kate Hudson), who allow Carl’s best friend, Dupree (Owen Wilson), to stay with them as he searches for a job and gets his life back on track.

From the moment Dupree moves in, hijinks ensue! I laughed so hard at all the silly situations he gets into. From making breakfast for everyone using ingredients from different dishes to painting the bedroom ceiling blue because “it matches the carpet,” there’s never a dull moment, or an end to the laughter.

The amazing cast also includes Michael Douglas as Molly’s dad, who is determined not to let Dupree overstay his welcome. This Widescreen Edition of You, Me and Dupree has awesome special features too – including deleted scenes and interviews with the cast – that make it even more enjoyable to watch. There’s nothing better than laughing with friends while taking in this classic comedy!

What I don’t Like

1. Plot is predictable – You, Me & Dupree follows a formulaic plot with few surprises.
2. Lack of character development – The characters are shallow and lack any real depth.
3. Unrealistic situations– The movie relies heavily on contrived and unlikely scenarios to move the story along.
4. Poor dialogue – Much of the dialogue in You, Me & Dupree is trite and uninspired.
5. Overuse of slapstick comedy – Many scenes rely too heavily on physical humour for laughs.
